TheSchooladmitteditsfirstundergraduate andpostgraduate studentsin1993and2006,respectively.Now,theSchoolhasformed‘1+6’postgraduate andundergraduate educationpattern,wherethereareonepostgraduate programinComputerScienceandTechnology,andsixundergraduate coursesin Computer Science and Technology, Internet of Things Engineering, Data Science and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Information Engineering andCommunication Engineering.The School adheres to the characteristic development of ”Transportation + Information“ and hasfoundedtheChongqingkeydisciplinesinComputer Science and Technology, nationalfirst-class construction site of Computer Science and Technology, andtwofirst-class subjects in Chongqing, namely,Electronic Information Engineering and Communication Engineering. 

Wehave won two national science and technology progress awards, more than 10 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, more than 20 provincial and ministerial teaching reform research and quality engineering projects, numerous  national and provincial teaching achievement awards, and more than 100 provincial and ministerial discipline competition awards for students. 

TheSchoolhas built two provincial and ministerial level research platforms, i.e., Chongqing Big Data Technology for Public Transport Operation Research Center and Engineering Laboratory, whereas two university level research platforms havebeenhoundedaswell, i.e. Artificial Intelligence Research Institute and Big Data Center forIntelligence Transportation.  

Atpresent,wehavegrowntobeacommunity ofninety-sixfulltimestaffs,whereseven-fiveofthemareacademic staffs,including fifteen  professors, twenty-four associate professors and twenty-four doctors (or post-doc).Specifically,wehaveseveral leadinginnovationtalentsintransportation industry andChongqing. Whereastwo foreign part-time professors and one overseas Bayu scholar were introduced aswell. 

Graduates of the School have been widely recognized and praised by the society and employers. The initial employment rate has exceeded 90% for many years. In recent years, some graduates go to famous universities allovertheworld for further study.
